How it works?

Microdermabrasion machine will be used, with a tool that has it’s head covered in diamonds. Dead skin cells will be exfoliated off the face and vacuumed up. This is a very safe form of treatment as there is no risk for getting crystals in the eyes. . The dead skin cells will then be vacuumed up the same as crystal microdermabrasion. While the exfoliating tip passes over the skin’s surface, it gathers up the dead skin cells, and discards of dry skin while cleansing the skin’s texture.
Microdermabrasion can be used on nearly all areas of the body. The most common treatment areas include the face, décolletage and neck, upper arms and upper back.

Recovery time

Post treatment

Your skin will feel warm & appear pink

• You may notice slight swelling, scratching or needle bruising. This will reduce over the next 24 – 48 hours. Redness may last up to 72 hours.

Until all redness has gone, avoid:

• Using AHA, BHA or Vitamin A products.
• Waxing the area.
• Swimming pools & spas with chemicals/chlorine.
• Activities that cause excessive perspiration.Your skin may feel sensitive
• Use only tepid water to wash your face.
• Apply a cooling gel (aloe Vera)
• Do not apply makeup for 24 hours after treatment.
• Ensure that your make-up brushes have been thoroughly cleaned.
• In the rare case of infection, antibiotics are recommended & can be prescribed by your GP.
